Hey Everyone!!!
So its back to the grindstone for us after a simply amazing weekend in Vancouver.
For anyone who doesn't know, Maria and I flew into Vancouver on Friday night without anyone knowing (well maybe a couple people. who did a GOOD JOB by the way of keeping it secret!)
We flew in late since it was the only flight we could get and showed up on my parents doorstep in total secrecy!
Since it was late, I phoned my own house and talked with my dad for a moment, mentioning that I had a suprise for him.. at that moment, I knocked on the door and shocked them!
With my parents nicely suprised, we decided to take advantage and pay my Grandparents a visit as well. we went with my parents over there and got them to go inside first. We waiting in the car for a few moments, and then came in and suprised them as well.. yaaaaar!
But obviously the best kept suprise was for none other than my lovely sista and brotha shepards who were celebrating birthdays, and were the main reason why we flew in.
We showed up on the doorstep, and with a swing of the door opening, we saw THIS:
hmmm.. not exactly who we were expecting to see, but it was sweet none the less!...
and not a moment later, we were able to capture this gem:

YEEEEESSSSSSSSS that my friends is the mark of a plan executed to perfection!
It was such a great experience being able to shock everyone, except for the mexican wrestler, who knew all aboot it.
a sweet pic of Mia and I while Maria was still alive and kicking. Her and Polar Ice had a slight disagreement. She was under the impression that Polar Ice wanted her to stay up all night and party and have fun. Unfortunately, Polar Ice decided otherwise. So for all you kids out there, let this be a lesson. Never EVER, expect Maria to last a whole night when Polar Ice is involved.
Me you ask?? Proud to say that I stuck the landing on this occasion, staying up right until the bitter end. I even was gonna get up and make breakfast for everyone, but the stove wasn't ready for me. Next time... ohhhhh next time.
and here is the "crowdsurfing" picture that you all were expecting.. ...
Its a perfectly legitimate form of travel..
WhatEVA.. I'll do what I want!

and a nice pic on the last day of our trip before we went for a fantastic lunch with Kath and Matt..
gonna miss you guys :)
So there you have it. our suprise trip went off without a hitch, and we so loved being there with everyone and having the chance to see everyone again.
Until next time..
