Hidey Ho Everybody!
Just a quick little post to let everyone know we're doing okay still here in Cowtown, and to make a vacation announcement!
We will be returning to our beatiful BC in the upcoming month.. from the 2nd until the 13th, Mia and I will be taking some time off to drive down from here to Kelowna, and then the next day down to Vancouver! Mark your calendars people!! There are lots of people I wanna see when we get home, so let it be known that we'll be home!!!
The day today is nothing short of lazy.. I love midweek days off, regardless of what I do, or don't do I should say. Just getting ready to make some dinner and watch the Nucks tie up the series.. not before we take a walk and grab a slurpy.. with the sun shining till 9 each night, its a huge incentive to take a walk :)
Work is going good for both of us, and its actually going to be our 5 year anniversary come the 11th of this month.. 5 years we've been together anyway, so naturally I have some festivities planned for my lovely lady. I'm sure she'll write all about it :D

Can't believe we'll be able to see you in both this month and the next one. Huzzah!
Too bad about our 'Nucks. I do believe that they gave it a good ole try though, so that's something. Let's see how they gel for next year...:-)
So like, what are you guys doing next Friday? Me and Matt might be in the area and wanted to see what you might be up to. WAWA-WEE-WA!
Me and Mama had an awesome day together today. Went for brunch at the Hart House and then over to the Deer Lake Art Gallery to meet with one of mom's lovely friends who was exhibiting some art there. Totally fell in love with this one little picture smoldering away in the corner above the fireplace in the gallery and I realized that I had to have it so I bought it. First piece of art that I have ever bought EVER and it felt amazing. Mom even said she'd go halfers on it with me, because she's mama and that's what she does. So now I have this lovely piece of art that will hang on my wall in my kitchen and I love it and it will forever remind me of the awesomeness of this day. Loves it!
Can't wait to see you guys. I have once again typed way too much so I'm off for now.

Totally stoked for the next few weeks.. gonna be fun fun fun!
Too bad for the nucks.. true. They tried their best, and to wind up top of the northwest division in a season that I thought they wouldn't even make it to the playoffs is no cause for pouting.. they played well all season with new players and luongo was a madman, so the future is very bright.
I can't wait to see your first art purchase! You should take a picture and post it on your facebook since you've also joined the rest of the sheep hehehehe
Anyways, I've taken both the 18th and 20th off, so I'm all yours guys! Can't wait to see you!
