Hi everyone.
I just have a really big beef today, and although i know not many people read our blog, i stil lhave to get it off my chest.
It has to do with all of those older people in the world. (and young i guess too!) who are haters of the environmental movement. I have this guy in my office, and i swear he has a problem. I have taken it upon myself to be the recycler in the office. Mostly everyone helps out, but he is the one who is a pain. He won't even keep a recycling bin in his office. Apparently it messes up the look of the office. All i have to say to you is "LICK ME TODAY!" The part that bothers me the most is that people who are very wealthy think that their poop doesn't smell. BUT IT DOES! And it really gets to me when they feel like they are exempt from doing something good because they have money. I feel like my integrity and my moral code are what make me who i am, and the fact that i actually care about the world doesn't make me a granola, but makes me selfless. And the rest of the population of people who actally give a crap, YAY FOR YOU! Give yourself a big hug.
Sometimes i feel like there is no hope because people are in their bubble. A bubble is very comfortable. And its sometimes hard to always think about whats best for the world, i know that, but the world is not for us to just keep taking from. Its so sad because what are our kids going to say when there is not enough of anything to go around when they are grown up.?? They are gonna sit there and say " why did you just sit there and let this happen? You could have done something!"
I really believe that saying " one person doesn't make a difference" is bull. If everyone thought the opposite, just think of what is possible.

Ok thats my rant for the day. Sorry, im just feelin jaded and needed to scream out! on the computer screen.

Heya everehbuddy!

So this last weekend, Mia arranged for us two suckas to stay a night at the Delta Banff Lodge.. complete with champagne, truffles, and a chance to get away from the Calgary scene.

So WOW goes out to the Banff Springs.. I had never actually been there, and man was I blown away with the history.. such an amazing story behind it all! The view aint bad eighter..

We stumbled across the Gazebo on the far side of the hotel.. all of the rooms had all their own feels entirely. Another nice touch were all the various size pianos scattered around the hotel.. people would play, and the walls would reverberate sound all over. It was pretty awesome just to walk the halls!

the weather cooperated nicely enough and we were able to take in the sights. Managed to get a couple great shots and got to sleep in a bit as well.

I dunno what's better.. finding a swath of great music as of late, or the precup run the nucks are about to take all the way deep into post season..
I have an announcement for everyone~ Its most nice to be here in Calgary as their hopes go up in flames! oh~!
And what's with the weather Vancouver?!? Maybe not in hockey, but Calgary certainly does beat Van City in suuuuum ways.

Felt the need to post as its been awhile.. and I wouldn't be able to make some stupid excuse like "what?? I don't have a computer :p" and get away with it..
We get to go to Banff for next weekend! Mia planned it all out already.. so exciting!
So we're hoping the weather's gonna be nice as it'll be a treat to get out of the city. Both of us could use a little getaway for sure.. Christmas feels like it was last week!

Hope everyone back home is doing well, we miss you guys. If you didn't know, Mia will be coming to Vancouver at the end of the month to pay a small visit also. Mom, thanks again.. you are magnifico. OH and if you enjoyed Sin City, GO SEE 300.. that is all.
