Hey guys.
Im just at work right now. The weather has been pretty awesome since yesterday. We had a chinook and it was like 10 degrees. I heard the weather was BRUTAL at home. Land slides and things? Wow.
So everything here is good. I'm enjoying my job quite a bit. The people i work for are awesome. And Vlad is really liking his job too. He's learning more and more it seems every day!
Can you believe how quickly Christmas is already coming up? I think im done my shopping for the year. I did it all online. Me and Vlad went to the mall a few weeks ago and we wanted to shoot eachother. Its so freaking busy. And the thing about Calgary is that there is hmm.. like 3 malls for 1 million people. (actually, its more like 5 large malls) But still, you can really feel the hugeness (yet squishiness) of the city when you go to the mall, (on a FRIDAY NIGHT by the way) Even going to the Superstore or Costco.. what a nightmare. I wish they planned infrastructure better. Its horrible. Calgary now houses THE WORST DRIVERS.. Mostly everyone here should be on Canada's Worst Driver!
So im now spending the weekends by my lonesome. Well, actually it is kind of good because i get to catch up with the people i dont see during the week.
Hey.. My mom bought her dream car on Wednesday!! (yesterday) yay mom.

On another note, my aquasizing has been fun! She worked the class so hard the other day. I laugh and my abs hurt. Coughing is the worst!! I feel better though. I think my heart loves me more and more every time i do some activity. running for the bus counts too...
Ok, well. i hope everyone is good in the land of rain. I miss you all.. i miss the trees too... ahhh. the coaast...

Yes I did get your letter and thank you ever so much - it made my day. As we speak one is winging it's way to you as well which I hope you'll be able to read (my chickenscratch aiya!).
I hate shopping. No really I know I'm a girl and everything and it should be part of my DNA, but it really isn't my fave thing to do if there are crowds/lineups/screamingchildren/badrivers. It tests me and it tests my marriage. Ah, this Chardonnay I'm drinking is lovely. Anyhoo, yes. I love to do a lot of my grocery shopping online now as well as any clothing/books/cds I may need. It's a great thing - truly. Give it a whirl.
Yeah so last night we were without power for a few hours. Matt had candles everywhere in the house and a roaring fire when I got home with some Maccas for dinner. Luckily it went back on again halfway during our candlelit dinner of Big Xtras and we gave each other a high five. I'm all for romance, but being without power for longer than 2 hours really sucks.

FOR THE RECORD Calgary hosts the worst drivers because they are all from everywhere else IT NEVER USED TO BE LIKE THIS!Until all you buggers from everywhere else came to work here!!!!! I love you Maria.
the weather here is horrible! we can't even drink our own tap water. can you do my christmas shopping for me since you're done yours? haha keener! anyhoo miss you as always.
