Good day everyone.. we're still on the isle of Hvar and loving our time here quite a bit. The weather was crap at first, but now that the clouds have cleared all is good. We've been working on our tans and feel that we've gotten a tad darker so that's in the good. We've been talkin with Mom and Dad and it looks like we are all set up to meet them in Split on Monday, so we're totally excited for that and getting to travel with another couple finally!
We're getting pretty antsy towards getting back to our homes as its been a loooong time since I've been able to eat cereal, watch seinfeld, and play Unreal.. as well as other things of course :)
We've been thinking alot about going into business with a great idea that we've been embelleshing on the past couple days.. of course, we wouldn't post it on here for some othe fat cat to come in and steal from us, so we'll stay hush hush for the moment.. but its interesting conversation to say the least.

We have also had much problems with my family trying to get a hold of us on our mobile phone. Weve tried almost everything there is in the book including asking the operator how and apparently she doesnt know how to do her job properly...
We figure its 011 (from Canada) and Croatias country code which is 385 plus 98 and our number. 944-3887.. CAN ANYONE HELP USSSS?????

Hi Kids,
I just tried to call you again but no luck.
Well, the wedding was last night and it was beautiful. I've been dubbed the best wedding planner ever.I stood up in front of 100+ people and delivered my speech with ease and without turning red. I'll tell you all about it the next time we talk.
Mia, Cathy and I are heading to Edmonton today for the night I'll be back Monday.

I just tried calling that number you posted and all I got was some Serbian sounding woman who has smoked way too many cigarettes from the sounds of it talking about having to pay 28 "lipas" deposit or somesuch. A recording btw. So yeah. No dice...
In other news our weekend with Karen and Richard was fantastic as always. You were both sorely missed. We were all sitting outside till about 11ish then we moved the party in here and some people stayed till 1am. A good time was had by all and it was really nice to just gather everyone and hang out for an evening. Richard and Matt stayed up talking till about 4 in the morning (those two yo-yos) so the next day there were some sore heads, but nothing a hearty breakfast couldn't fix. We all went and visited Grandma and Grandpa (Matt took the day off, which was awesome and Mara happened to have the day off too!) then went down to 4th avenue to walk around the shops and then head to Las Margaritas for some dinner. Was muy bueno!
The rest of the week has gone by really well. Work was good, as my boss decided to take the week off so it was nice and relaxed there. Matt and I are not planning on much here for the long weekend. The sun is shining and there are books and magazines that need to be read in our backyard on the sun loungers (as well as wine to be drunk!).
Mira had a little party for Paul's 19th birthday on Friday and that was great as always. We got there rather late as I had a client after work here at the house, but better late than never.
I'm so glad that you're meeting up with the parents on Monday - not long now! Please give them an extra squeeze and kiss from me and Matt and we're really looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks time.
In the meantime, be safe, enjoy the tanning and good life. Before you both know it, you'll be back with your nose to the grindstone and wishing you were where you are right now...
