Hello everyone..
So today we're hangin around the house and getting everything taken care of before we finally depart from Athens. Greece has been a wonderful experience, and we've enjoyed our time here for the most part. Staying here for such a long time has definitely gotten on our nerves a tad, mostly just because we became so used to doing our own thing, and being dependent on noone but ourselves. That was definitely not the case being here in Greece, as Maria's family consistently broke the generosity barrier on a day to day basis. It was a real treat to get to meet all of Mia's family, and I loved being able to explore and find this great country and all its treasures.
Things I will miss the most from Greece you ask?? Hmm well lets see..
- the souvlaki
- the beaches
- the plentiful pretty ladies
- the mullets
Things I will not miss so much...
- the heat my god the heat
- the music
- the prices
- the mullets
So the clothes are washing, our bags are refilling and bulging at the seams, and we're very anxious to get back on the road and explore all thet Budapest has to offer. We're going to try and catch as many z's as we can throughout the day before we go for one last souvlaki-fest so that we have enough energy to wake up at 3am and get to the airport. We plan on getting in after 6am in Budapest and finding a room hopefully by 7 if all goes well; grab a couple hours sleep, and then go balls to the wall, drink 5 espressos, and tour the city as fully and thoroughly as we can.
So there you have it.. the next 72 hours will be a rush fa' sho'. Once we get into Split we will call everyone so you guys, expect a call.
Mom if you read this, please send me your # and we will send you ours once we get there as well.. can't wait to see you two and hopefully you've been enjoying your trip so far! Sis, it was awesome to have the chance to talk to you! Give Mikey and Matty my best and expect another call soon.
To everyone else, stay cool and hope you're all doing well. Check back soon! xoxox

It was completely awesome to get to hear both your voices yesterday my beauties! Totally made my day and thank you so much for calling me...
In comparison to there, the weather here has cooled down dramatically. I can hear Fall whispering in the trees and scratching at my door. This is all very okay though. This summer, all be it extremely busy, has been a lovely one. Lots of nice weather, time with family and some good day trips out amongst the beauty that is here on our doorstep. Really can't complain.
Our painting is coming along nicely. Matt has been doing a stellar job of it so far and we're both so excited to see how the rest of it will come to look. Hopefully we've learned a little something from watching "How Not to Decorate" or "You Suck at Decorating" or "Designer Gays to the Rescue!". Anyways, hopefully a few of the rooms will be ready to go by the time you guys are back so you can come up and go "ooooh" and "aaaah" or "errr, someone get Mike Holmes on the blower STAT!".
Hope you guys have a great time in Buda and Pest (apparantely two different parts of the city, if I remember correctly from Maria's travels) and that you make is safely and happily into Split as well. So much still to look forward to, that's fo sho..:-)
Speak to you both soon, take very good care and love you long time - K xx
