Hey everyone. Its been a couple of days since weve posted, but thats because weve really been doing nothing. Everything here in Athens is very expensive. (for three coffees it cost 12 euro)
So were just buying time until we can hit the beaches next Sunday!! And then we can post some more beautiful pictures!

Somebody got spoiled in Thailand with the money eh??
Welcome to Europe my friends - where everything costs WAY too much money. I don't blame you for being cautious - your money doesn't go as far there as it does in other places does it? You guys don't even think about going to England then where everything is virtually double the Canadian dollar. Ouch!
So Matt's mom is safely off to Ontario and Matt and I went out last night for Googs's b-day to a place called Stellas on Commercial drive. It had like no a.c. in there at all and we were all dying, but altogether a lovely evening was had. Gavin slept over last night too as Marieka and the kids are away visiting his parents in Ontario as well so him and Matt are sitting on our back steps and enjoying a bit of the coolness before the heat of the day begins in earnest..
I really miss you two. It would be so lovely to have you sitting on our patio and just having a good laugh. Can't wait till you're back..
In the meantime, take care of each other and do keep watch of your dollars for sure!

I've finally started packing for our trip and got our tickets and all the info just recently, so slowly I'm getting excited as to this wonderful adventure that awaits us.....
The weather here has just been way too hot --- over 30 for the last few days and few more to go, so I' secretly looking forward to some rain...
Vlado, please let me know of your flight into Split for Sept. 5th so we can arrange to meet you....I'm so looking forward to hugging you both....

Looks like you guys are having the time of your lives! I'm shocked that you've already been gone about 3 months and sorry to say that today was my first visit to your blog page. It'll take me a long time to read everthing you've posted. I miss you guys and not just cause you're away, but we should keep in better contact once you get back.
