Good day everyone!

So its our LAST day here in Laos, and though the people have been excellent, and our time very nice, we are definitely excited to make our way back to Thailand. In fact, we're very excited to leave South East Asia.. not because we aren't enjoying ourselves here, but rather that we are looking forward to seeing familiar faces again. As sappy as it sounds, it really is difficult being so far away from all of you.. even if w are in places that are so naturally beautiful with all the time in the world.

Tomorrow we will be flying to Chiang Mai, and we're sooo looking forward to it. Laos has been good, but staying in the same place for over a week gets a little tiring. I wish we had more money in our pockets, because we could have really explored Laos alot more. I really like it here after I take everything into consideration. The food, the people, the hospitality, the scenery... it really is a (mostly) undiscovered jewel.

Here are a couple more shots for ya'll..

This is a good show of the landscape in the area.. vey green and mountainous. Aint is just gohhhhhgeous?

K, seriously.. how cool is this pic?? Mia and I plan on framing this one when we get back..

Here is a shot of the Pak Ou Caves that we travelled (2 hours by boat) to go see today.. its like a graveyard for old Buddah artifacts. This is the lower level of the caves and you can see how far they stretch back into the rock.. super cool!

This is the best offering of a clear shot that I can give of the upper cave, as we are literlly 40 feet inside solid rock, and its PITCH black, aside from the light pouring in from the front gate.. it was such a trip.. it felt like I was in Tomb Raider!

This is a nice shot of the far side of the Mekong, and a small village amidst some nice scenery. This is the horrible sight that we had to look at for our boat trip down the river. Just dreadful really :P

Alright.. seeing as how its our last night, we're going to go and grab a bite and say toodle-loo.

To ther rents, we will be calling very soon, since we will most certainly have reception once we're back in Thailand.

Love you all and take care..

P.S. We're also very excited to show you guys the sweet stuff that we bought you! HAHA!!

Swelling legs! Vlad ate GRANOLA??! What that hell is going on dudes? That place is CHANGING you man! Quick - to Greece, to Greece!

Love the pictures - especially the one you guys plan on framing. We just got back from BBQ extravaganza at Mom and Dad's. Was most excellente and Matt and I will probably hit the couch here in a moment with the pants unbuttoned.

We are still very tired from our fishing trip from yesterday. Dad, Matt and I were at the Nahatlatch all day yesterday (I'm talking we left here at 2:45 am Sunday morning kinda early) and didn't get home till midnight. It was craaazy hot all day too so I think I was pretty much asleep before my head hit the pillow last night. But hey - I caught 3 fish and the other two almost caught a few good ones, but I prevailed. Yay for me!

As for today, I cut my hair super short so that's a nice change. It's like just above my collar bones so holy cow! I like it though and it's really nice not to have all that bush on my head during this hot spell. Also, me and Mom went downtown quickly to check out this spa I'm thinking of buying into, but that's a whole other story. More on that later Vlad when I get around to emailing you personally when I'm not so frikken busy, my goodness..sorry 'bout that..

Anyways, I'm excited for you guys going back to Thailand and then flying off to the magical land of where Mia came from and the origin of all things (according to them), the beautiful Greece. Opa!

I'm off now to go and get ready for bed here. Love you guys lots and miss you too. Happy Canada Day you hosers!

Love, Me (again) x
