Holy crap is it hot here.
OVERWHELMED is about the only word that comes to mind. This definitely is justified considering what the last 24 hours had in store for us. Not only was it a painfully long trip overseas, but we ended up getting to Bangkok airport at 12am.
Walking outside to the front of the airport was like walking into a sauna at your local swimming pool. We had to wait in a huge lineup to eventually make our way to Khoa San road, which I may add, is quite the scene.
We settled really for one of the first places we saw as both of us were exceedingly tired. We barely got a wink of sleep due to the air-con being on all night and the very unfamliar sound of bottles??? I dunno.
Anyway, we sat down for breakfast and ate, and are just about to depart and take a walk on the town to look around. We've been discussing different routes, and we really would like to head to the islands asap, so to the train station we go.
We will keep you all updated fairly soon.. AHHHHH WE'RE LOST!!!!

Hey you two!
Dad told me this afternoon that you phoned and that you are both alive and well and very warm!
Mia - we forgot to thank you for the extra coffee you gave us. So lovely - thank you from the "addicts". Vlad - Dad caught two of our squirrels in the attic - Yay for us! Only 12 more to go - little bastards!
Have fun guys and good luck getting to the beach - love your sister (who ate too many mashed poatoes at the Keg tonight - uurph!)
Vlad and Maria,
SOoooooo glad to hear that you made it safe and sound. Soooo Jelous that its so hot and humid there...today was actually pretty cold here (which was welcomed by some, just not me). Can't wait to read more about your journey.
Kelsey (and Steve)
Ps. Maria, Danielle won America's next top model...and Jade was only number 3... ha ha ha ha...
